On Tuesday, 25/2/2025, the Department of Geography at the College of Education, under the supervision of Asst. Lecturer Imad Mohammed Amin and Asst. Lecturer Firas Hassan, organized a scientific field trip for second-year students under the title "Analyzing Geographical Factors of the Dam and Surrounding Areas in Khans."
During the trip, students explored the physical geography of the region, discussed the reasons behind the construction of Khans Dam, and analyzed its environmental impact. Additionally, they conducted an on-site weather and climate study of the area.
Scientific discussions and inquiries played a key role in the trip, as students posed various questions, which were answered by Asst. Lecturer Imad Mohammed Amin.
At the end of the trip, students expressed their happiness and gratitude to the department's administration for organizing such an insightful and educational experience.
